thats not how "canon" works. canon in a series is dictated by the creator. GRRM dictates A Song of Ice and Fire "canon". Not fans, not HBO, only him. Same with DB and Toriyama (RIP). It happening on screen doesn't make it canon. (It can and often is still fun and worth watching though!)

2024-04-11 20:50:43 +0000 UTCI don't know if it's canon or not, but the next few training episodes will be good if my memory is right. The one today was probably filler though, the first half is too long but I like the idea of that random old fisherman being the guy goku must learn from, not the supposedly strong guy around.

2024-04-11 20:24:09 +0000 UTCWe're anime watchers not manga readers. If it happens on screen then it is cannon. Its just like Game of Thrones. It doesn't matter if things were different in the book because I'm not consuming that media. At best I can only borrow outrage from people who read the book.
