Melon: "I thought a Kamehameha would get rid of fire but it won't get rid of lava." We've seen it destroy a mountain attempting to put out a fire. We've seen it vaporize the moon. We've seen it erase a being that can regenerate from almost nothing. It wasn't the wave that couldn't stop lava, it was Krillin that couldn't stop the lava. To be fair, Roshi didn't teach Krillin the Kamehameha Wave. It's not like he taught grandpa Gohan, the Ox King, or even Goku the wave. Really, apart from Roshi, everyone who does it is pretty much guessing and then approximating how to do it, based on what they saw and felt when someone did Roshi's wave.

DragonBall movies are wild. Popo, the first one to control his power level for Stealth Mode. "I don't why I called him bitch." I'm going to guess someone has been playing some multiplayer. lol

It basically is I would say, since this is how Goku ended up learning how to sense energy from this training. I've always been a sucker for the wise old master schtick passing down lessons. Toriyama didn't involve himself in most filler, but there were in fact times he did contribute to filler in small ways, usually nothing major, for example Goku eating the clouds during the filler arcs in Z on snake way was actually Toriyama suggesting that scene. In the final episode of Dragon Ball OG, there is a filler episode and he once again suggested a design for one of the focuses of the characters. Usually small stuff like that.

2024-04-28 06:31:42 +0000 UTCboth episodes are filler. gokus training on kami's lookout happens almost entirely offpanel in the manga. you dont see any of it. he goes up there, starts his training and then it jumps to the next tournament years later. pretty much everything since he got kami to bring back the dragon and revive his friends has been filler.
