2024-07-01 15:42:40 +0000 UTCIt's honestly pretty incredible that any part of the martial arts ring survived that blast, I guess they really built it to last! If you recall Piccolo actually used that giant blast only one other time in the series, which is in the Tournament of Power! Albeit to a much smaller degree! It's no surprise that Piccolo was shocked he didn't hit any of Goku's vital areas. He's an alien after all, so he probably doesn't fully understand human anatomy! It's such a funny throwaway line but also one that is unique to the English dub! In Japanese Piccolo simply expresses disbelief! So I thought it was a nice touch!!
