also, I'm seeing a lot of comments on YouTube saying to watch Z, I didn't see the point since I watched it already, but what do you guys think of a rewatch with me after GT? I'm watching so out of order, but it's still up in the air if I decide to watch it

Goku is in his 50s by this point and Mai was a full grown woman when he was like 11-12 years old so she's WAAAAY up there in age.

And now that I think about it freeza is probably Goku's hardest fight up to this point. He was so outmatched that the writers needed to come up with super saiyan plot hole so goku could win. Hope you enjoy GT. Many people hate GT, but if you give it a chance and watch it with an open mind I'm sure you'll love it.

Little things, mostly, you always remember the big stuff but everything in between often can be forgotten. I think it could still be worth the watch, if you're enjoying the dragon ball adventure that is. I prefer Z too myself over Kai but I did watch Z first too.

2024-07-30 06:21:51 +0000 UTCI'm sorry, but its really funny how Pilaf explained that these are a set of Dragonballs made by the Namekian that split into Kami and Piccolo, before he split, then Shuu and Mai interrupted him and asked him again, he explained it again while telling them he had just told them, and then you were like "wait what are these? why is this a different shenron?" but yeah their wish was on the "Black Star Dragon Balls" they're gonna remain important for the rest of this first arc of GT.

2024-07-29 13:47:44 +0000 UTCThe English dub of Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku will always catch me off guard because it just feels weird compared to the original Japanese version was just so beautiful. I think I just don't like how the voice sounds pretty autotuned. Though I suppose it's better that the cringe "Grand Tour" rap opening that came with first release of the dub; god that awful.
