During this time Japan really did have a problem with kids Yusukes age forming gangs and having fights. I forgot the word for it but one of my friends showed me a bunch of real life kids that wore their hair like Kuwabara and Yusuke. They would get into fights over school territory.

2024-08-17 15:28:05 +0000 UTCIm not from japan so I cant say for sure if things were like that in japan in the late 80s early 90s, but it WAS shown in a lot of media especially around that time anime/manga/movies etc. Plot should start plotting soon and lots of cool and wild things await us, NEXT TIME!

2024-08-17 01:43:23 +0000 UTCBack in the day middle schoolers were pretty brutal. When I was in 6th grade I was tied up to a tether ball pole and hit by the ball by a variety of kids including one teacher. This was 90s culture.
