So when Spike tells him to leave the water running he was talking about the guy throwing up. You can see in the frame when he has the handkerchief against his mouth some vomit around it implying he threw up in the sink as a side effect of taking the drugs. When Spike was being choked out he was taken by surprise and that was legit he just did what he could afterwards. If the hot lady hadn't said to stop Spike would be dead.

2025-02-20 00:11:58 +0000 UTCYeah its set in the future a bit. Mars is colonized. So are some moons iirc. They dont leave our solar system. The Tijuana he went to, was the same one on Earth right now. Real world modern problems still exist in their future. Pretty basic setting information.
