Patreon Playpack on Videos
Added 2025-02-27 12:04:29 +0000 UTCHi guys! I've noticed a few of you guys have mentioned the slow playback on videos posted here. I've tried to look into it and I personally cannot see what you guys see so I thought it would be a one-off thing.
It seems it's a recurrent issue and It's not the video file itself that's the problem. I post the same type of video file on youtube with no issue. So, I may have to move to host video files through vimeo again. Let me know what you guys think, I want to see how many have this issue. I'll start using vimeo going forward if that's the case.

2025-02-27 13:00:31 +0000 UTCI mean that slow granulated time stretch effect (I produce music so I got these terms in my back pocket) on some of the videos I'm pretty sure is just the host you stream the episodes on cause you're personal capture seems uneffected in contrast so I wouldn't think Patreon's hosting your video has a ton to do with it tbh I really thought maybe it was just a setting in whatever platform you use being auto set to a certain playback in memory if you happen to use that function at all although I wouldn't imagine why you'd want to watch something at 80-90 percent speed unless it was a grand conspiracy to pinch more minutes out of you're uploads for youtube watch time >:) but who knowwws
