Yeah. This anime does a real good job at making you care... for a reason lol. But yeah I wouldn't watch the original. Without spoiling too much, if you like Bradley who he is, if you like Ed x Winry, if you like Roy x Riza, if you like Ling, Lan Fan, and everyone from Xing, if you like Greeling, Pride, Olivier Armstrong, and the whole plot of the series and story of the Humunculus, and a happy ending, you won't get that with the original anime. No sir lol.
