The lineage of Xing I'm pretty sure they won't specify beyond what they have already, but If I remember correct from their introduction Ling and Mei are not siblings but can trace their genes back to one emporor. Can't remember if they said there are 50 clans or 50 children decended from the emporor but succecion seems to be mostly merrit based (which is why they are searching for immortality more as an achievement than for the sake of having it). In this light I'd say at closest they are half siblings, but I think it's more likely that their parents were siblings and the emporor in question is their grand father, while they don't have a very direct blood relationship.......... (actually not sure if you're considered cousins if the parents are only half sibling)
