Right there with you on the characters. Way more into Tenza/Nurugai (+Shion now), and Chobei and his brother more than the core cast (I do like Gabimaru, but still less than the sides). This show is pretty brutal though until the Chobei scene I was still holding on the idea Eizen was still alive. I was considering hanging it up too, but now I'm invested enough now I have to finish it (They have to seriously nose dive this to make me stop)
