That is false and wasn’t the reason why vegeta brought up jiren in the first place. Having better control of your energy doesn’t make you blink away a power greater than 20x super saiyan blue goku EASILY, and not to mention he was *SUPPRESSED* meaning not at full power😱like be real here😂. Jiren is still vastly superior to their strongest forms on top of having better control of his ki. Plus Ultra instinct is a literal boost in power beyond regular SSB and that was NEEDED to even contend with jiren. Don’t try to downplay his power!

2023-06-24 11:10:20 +0000 UTCSince nobody answered the spirit bomb question yet, Yes the spirit bomb can effect anyone. It’s literally a mass of spiritual energy compressed to form a “bomb”. The point is if you’re pure of heart you can redirect a spirit bomb, like when goku told gohan to bounce it back at vegeta during the saiyan saga. We essentially see that during the buu arc all that’s needed to push back a spirit bomb really is having enough power to do so, as we see with kid buu and later jiren.

2023-06-24 11:07:09 +0000 UTCMel please remember that instant transmission is INSTANT, like no time passes at all so it makes it way harder to sense energy that moves that sporadically. I know the animation makes it seem like he’s just moving really fast and you even said the universe 2 guy is a master at using it. I know you’re harder on him cuz you love him but he wasn’t kidding. Everyone left in the tournament are the strongest fighters in the multiverse so cut Gohan some slack 😅

Vegeta makes a good observation about Jiren in the Dragon Ball Super Super Hero movie... He points out that Jiren wasn't that much stronger than both of them at their max power, but he was incredibly well trained in how to conserve it and use energy.
