What’s funny about Gilgamesh calling everyone a mongrel is that he himself is a mongrel since he’s mixed 2/3 god and 1/3 mortal lmao

2025-11-08 15:51:01 +0000 UTCHow it was explained to me was It’s more then just his belief it’s sorta like a metaphysical thing, because the epic of Gilgamesh (the story he comes from of course) involved him finding EVERY treasure in the world, everything that could be considered a “treasure” exists in his gate of Babylon that’s why he said the contents of his treasure exceeded his knowledge, even after he died more things that can be considered treasure end up there, so if he wanted he could just summon the grail from his gate, he just doesn’t because he’s Gilgamesh, which if nothing else at least his pride is consistent
