Yeah, Fate Zero Gilgamesh is just there to enjoy himself and to find something of valuable. Which is why he is more chill In Stay night however, the 10 years he spent in the world dropped his mood to the max. So, he planned to cull humanity, which gave him an objective. So, he was more centered on that WHILE being on a foul mood basically all the time. Thats why he is different, and I give props to the Zero author for the characterization he gave Gilgamesh. Truly different from his Stay Night counterpart due to the circumstances

2025-11-12 23:58:32 +0000 UTCI know someone commented on it before, but I have to mention again that it's unfortunate the version you're watching has so much missing content. There was at least 3 full minutes of dialogue between Kirei and Gilgamesh that's just completely gone from the version you're watching. And some of it is actually important for Kirei's motives and development in Fate/Zero. I know Fate/Zero is also available on some other services like Hulu and Amazon Prime Video (thru Crunchryoll) but I'm not 100% sure if those are the BD version. For example, on Amazon Prime Video this episode is 29 minutes long while on Crunchyroll it is only 23 minutes long.
