Chinitous Carnival v0.3.1 [Bug Fix]
Added 2021-10-01 22:49:17 +0000 UTCAlright, I think I managed to iron at all the bugs people have found. Again, I apologies for so many issues. Now, here's a run down of what I've patched up:
- Fixed bug that caused inspections to crash
- Fixed bug that caused parasite items to disappear
- Fixed bug that cause intro to hang when skipped
- Fixed bug that cause some dialogue sections to get cut off
- Fixed bug with grabbing insects caused by screen scaling
- Fixed potential hard lock if an insect was dropped far enough off screen
- Fixed windows specific save bug (File names cannot contain colons in them, whoops)
- Fixed inventory selection bug on android
- Fixed save menu scrolling on android
- Fixed a few typos
Also, for MacOS users you'll have to open the command line where you have Chitinous Carnival extracted and bypass Gatekeeper by running:
- xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine Chitinous\ Carnival.app
However, I am not 100% certain this will work. Additionally, as far as I can tell, this is something completely out of my control. Apple's Gatekeeper is pretty strict now about unsigned applications especially on their M1 laptops. I am very much shit out of luck without apple hardware.
Addendum 1:
Fixed an issue with scene loading, I think? To be honest, I don't know what the issue was or how I fixed it. I just know it was there one build and gone the next.
Addendum 2:
Fixed issues with menus duplicating items.
Reduced difficulty of avoiding the parasites slightly.
