Specially when Zouken talked with Shirouy about Sakura and the Shadow since in that part de subs were iffy: Zouken explains that for him Sakura was an experiment. He found a shard of the destroyed Holy Grail in the previous war and implanted it in Sakura. And experimenting with that, he was able to turn Sakura in a pseudo lesser Grail just like Illya Illya is a homunculus specifically created to become the lesser grail, which functions as a collector for the souls of the defeated servants Zouken turned Sakura into something similar, however since she is human, her body and mind are incapable of holding all that vortex of power. SInce she is taking all that raw magical energy inside her And because she is human, there are cracks from which the Pollution of the Grail leaks out. THAT is the shadow. A creature that uses Sakuras negative feelings to manifest and eat. It also amplifies her negative emotions as you saw in some instances of the movie with her turning yandere Gilgamesh warned her, since she was too much of an irregularity. However, because her transforming into the shadow was only a possibility, he only told her to kill herself before it was too late As you know, in the Fate and UBW storylines, Sakura does not reach the point of becoming the shadow, since her mental fortitude is out of this world. And she only cracked in Heavens Feel because Zouken decided to actively break her I think that covers the more important stuff. Also after watching UBW and seeing how determined Shirou is about his hero path, its very interesting to see him actually trying to protect only one person instead of the majority of people IN FACT, in the visual novel you get to actually choose between Being a hero just for Sakura or keep being a Hero of Justice If you choose Keep being a Hero of Justice, Shirou hardens his resolve completely and decides to kill Sakura in the Church. Rin is surprised by this but still tells him that is her duty to kill her, and she does, going mad because of the grief and going on a warpath to win the holy grail Kirei then tells him that now that he has become like Emiya Kiritsugu,t Shirou would win the Grail War. Because once he discovers the true nature of the grail, he will use any means necessary to destroy it, killing anyone in his path. Including Rin and Illya Its a very interesting BAD ENDING

But gotta love that even after she bit his leg off, he casually refuses to touch the ground and he was more mad about her trying to make him "kneel". Also, fun fact: The visual novel actually mentions that Gil was actually about to just tear his way out of Sakura from the inside after she ate him, so she was forced to digest him instantly.
