A sharp knock on the door woke Amon from his deep sleep.

"Amon, why are you still in bed? You're usually up by now! Come down for breakfast," his mother called out.

"Yes, Mom! I'm coming!" Amon replied quickly. He didn't want her to come in and see his current state—clothes stained and body covered in strange, dark residue. It would only make her worry.

Getting up, he grabbed a clean set of clothes and moved stealthily to the bathroom. He couldn't risk anyone seeing him like this.

As Amon walked, he noticed something extraordinary. Everything around him felt sharper—colors seemed more vivid, sounds crisper, and movements almost exaggerated in their clarity.

It was as if the world itself had slowed down, granting him more time to absorb every detail—a sensation both exhilarating and unnerving.

His mind made up, Amon steeled his resolve. "It's decided, then."

Amon threw the shuriken with precision, watching it slice through the air and embed itself in the target. Each throw felt smoother, more natural, as if his body was finally aligning with his heightened senses. 'This is just the beginning,' he thought, his resolve hardening with every motion.

His mind buzzed with plans for the future. The possibilities seemed endless, and for the first time in a long while, he felt unstoppable.
