An "Ultimate Move" Trait?
This was the first time Luen had come across one.
After digging through the "Ultimate Trait System" explanations, Luen finally got it.
An "Ultimate Move" trait appears when a person's battle power hits a whole new level—like a full-on transformation of their fighting ability.
In Kuro's case, while Stealth Walk and Cat Claws are just Light Purple traits on their own, combining them creates the Deep Purple-tier Shakushi—his ultimate move.
So why didn't Luffy or Zoro have any of these "Ultimate Traits"
Simple. Luffy hadn't unlocked Gear 2 or 3 yet.
Zoro hadn't learned how to "cut steel," or even become a true swordsman.
Right now, their "finishing moves" were just using 100% of what they had—not actually evolving to a higher level of strength.
If Luen were to steal Kuro's Shakushi (Deep Purple) trait, the Light Purple ones (Stealth Walk and Cat Claws) would disappear. After all, Shakushi is a fusion of the two.
Still—trading two Light Purple traits for a single Deep Purple one? That's a win. A huge one.
Deep Purple traits were on a whole other level.
...
"Who's that guy?"Luffy frowned, staring at the tall man with slicked-back hair and weirdly pushing his glasses with his palm.
"He's Miss Kaya's butler—Klahadore," someone answered.
Kuro's gaze sharpened as he slowly stepped forward. "May I ask you all to leave now? Or do you have something to say?"
"Actually yeah," Luffy grinned. "We want a ship!"
"No."
Kuro's voice suddenly turned harsh. "Usopp… I've heard a lot about you. You're quite the talk of the village."
At the sound of Kuro's voice, Usopp flinched, already ducking behind a tree.
"Oh? I'm that famous, huh?" Since he was already caught, Usopp popped out and pretended to act cool.
"I heard you love running off on 'adventures'," Kuro said with a mocking smile. "Impressive... for someone your age."
"You can call me Captain Usopp, thank you very much," Usopp raised his nose proudly.
"Captain?" Kuro repeated, slowly pushing his glasses up again.
"I also know a bit about your father…"
That made Usopp's face fall.
"Stop it, Klahadore," Kaya stepped in, clearly uncomfortable.
But Kuro didn't stop. "You're just the son of a filthy pirate. I wouldn't be surprised if you caused trouble. But I will ask you to stay away from Miss Kaya."
Usopp's fists trembled, face pale.
Then—A soft snort cut through the tension.
"Huh? What's so funny?"
Kuro's eyes locked on Luen, who had stepped forward, smirking.
Luffy and the others were confused at first—but they trusted Luen and let him handle it.
"You're getting way too into your role, huh?"
"Bounty: 16 million berries. Captain of the Black Cat Pirates—Kuro of a Hundred Plans."
Luen's smile twisted with a hint of sarcasm.
Kuro's face instantly went cold.
"What?! That guy's a pirate? With a higher bounty than Buggy?!" Luffy blinked in disbelief.
"'Hundred Plans' Kuro?! I've heard of him!" Usopp broke into a nervous sweat. "But I thought he was executed by the Navy?"
"That's enough!" Kaya shouted, glaring at Luen. "Even if you're Usopp's friend, this is too much. That pirate's been dead for a long time!"
"Exactly. I don't know what you're talking about," Kuro said flatly, adjusting his glasses again.
Luen turned to Kaya and smiled gently. "Don't worry. I'll show you proof."
He wasn't mad at her. Kaya had been sick most of her life. That kind of pain would make anyone irritable. But at her core, she was a kind girl—she was just being tricked by Kuro.
Then Luen turned his gaze back to Kuro.
"You serious? All you did was change your name. Didn't even bother with a disguise."
Luen pulled out a wanted poster. "You called Kuro of a Hundred Plans but you didn't even plan to change your face? I'm speechless for you man."
Luen had gotten the poster back in Shells Town.
That fake Navy officer, Morgan, had risen to power by claiming he captured Kuro. In truth, Kuro had let himself get caught. He'd used hypnotist Jango to brainwash Morgan into believing he'd captured the real Kuro, then staged a fake execution.
After that, Kuro disappeared—taking on the identity of a butler in this quiet village. All for one goal: to steal Kaya's inheritance.
As for Morgan? Hypnotized and proud, he treated the "capture" as the crowning moment of his career. The guy was so obsessed with his so-called success, he even built a statue of himself.
---
"It's an exact match," Nami muttered, comparing the poster to Kuro's face.
"…Klahadore?" Kaya whispered, stunned.
"There are plenty of people who look alike," Kuro said flatly, not even blinking.
"Oh yeah? Then I hope you can stay that calm in a second," Luen replied.
His eyes flashed red and black.
BOOM.
A terrifying pressure exploded from Luen, surging outward like a tidal wave.
Kuro's eyes went wide. His forehead broke into a cold sweat—then everything went black.
Thud.
Kuro hit the ground, unconscious.
Conqueror's Haki.
A 16-million-berry pirate? That might be impressive in East Blue.
But in front of Luen's Conqueror's Haki? Trash.
"Klahadore!" Kaya screamed.
"He's fine. Just knocked out," Luen said calmly.
And in his mind, he whispered—
"Plunder."
