In a quiet, empty alleyway…

A flash of white light bursts through the air.

A young man suddenly appears—freshly transmigrated from Earth.

"Where… am I?"

Klaus clutched his forehead, glancing around the unfamiliar surroundings.

The alley was dark and damp, lined with old blue bricks. Not a hint of modern architecture in sight.

"…Did I just transmigrate?"

Honestly, no one would believe this story.

He wasn't hit by a truck or involved in some bizarre ritual. He just opened the bathroom door at home—

—and boom, next thing he knows, he's here.

Panicking a little, Klaus called out in his head. "Where the hell are you?! Show yourself!"

A robotic loli voice rang out in his mind.

His eyes lit up instantly.

"Whew… thank god."

"I've got a cheat system after all!"

"As long as I'm not starting off like Subaru in Re:Zero, I'll manage."

Before transmigrating, Klaus had seen tons of anime—Re:Zero included. The thought of having to go through what Subaru did made him break into a cold sweat.

Hearing that name, Klaus froze, thoughts racing.

Klaus looked toward the towering Babel Tower in the distance, excitement flickering in his eyes.

"Let's start with the most powerful Familia—Freya's!"

But just as he was about to go for it, he hesitated.

Actually, the Loki Familia sounded pretty good too.

After all, among its members was a certain top-tier beauty—

Riveria Ljos Alf, one of the famed Nine Hells.

And then there was Ais Wallenstein—the Sword Princess—and Lefiya, the Thousand Elf with golden hair.

Riveria wasn't just beautiful—she was royal. A refined, noble presence that gave her an unmatched aura.

She was said to be the most powerful magic-user in Orario, holding the title of Vice-Captain in the Loki Familia and being one of the few true royalty among elves.

In fact, her beauty alone was enough to make many goddesses secretly jealous.

And to Klaus?

She was his ultimate waifu—the green-haired queen of his dreams.

If Ais was the aloof "Flower on a Distant Peak," Riveria was the goddess who outshone actual goddesses.

…Though getting close to her would be tough.

Especially with that jerk Bete the Werewolf lurking around the Loki Familia.

He could already imagine getting mocked and bullied as the new guy.

But no matter.

Klaus shook his head. Now wasn't the time to worry about all that.

Right now, priority number one: Get stronger.

"Let's just finish the beginner quest first."

Eyes gleaming with anticipation, he left the alley and stepped into the bustling city.

The streets were wide, paved with smooth white stone. Even five horse-drawn carriages could drive side-by-side without it feeling crowded.

Adventurers of all kinds walked the streets—humans, beastmen, dwarves, Amazons, chienthropes, and elves.

Shops and stalls sold everything from weapons to exotic snacks. Strange architecture gave every block a unique flair.

It was like walking through a living fantasy painting.

For Klaus, a first-time isekai traveler, it was eye-opening.

"That guy—isn't he Takemikazuchi?!"

One glance was enough.

A towering man with a muscular build and a distinct hairstyle walked toward him.

Klaus instantly recognized him—Takemikazuchi, the kind martial arts god known for being chill and down-to-earth.

Despite not using divine power, he could beat a Level 5 adventurer with just his combat skills.

Klaus politely stepped forward.

"Excuse me, Lord God—hi!"

"Would you happen to know how to get to the Loki Familia's base?"

He wasn't familiar with the maze city's layout. Might as well ask someone reliable.

Plus, he'd already made up his mind to go after Riveria. Joining the Loki Familia was step one.

Takemikazuchi paused, turning to glance at Klaus.

He gave the young man a once-over.

Klaus now looked around 16 or 17 years old. Tall, about 1.81 meters. Eight-pack abs, lean and muscular.

And his face? Clean, handsome, and effortlessly charming.

Definitely human, no question there.

"…You from out of town?"

Takemikazuchi raised an eyebrow.

His perception was sharp—he could tell Klaus was new in town at a glance.

"Yeah," Klaus nodded. "Just got to Orario. Looking to join the Loki Familia."

Takemikazuchi gave a faint smile.

He pointed down a street toward the northern part of town.

"Head straight down that road. You'll find their base."

Klaus bowed slightly. "Thanks!"

With that, he hurried off toward his goal.

Takemikazuchi's knowing smile lingered behind him—but Klaus didn't notice.

As he walked, the scenery continued to impress him.

The buildings varied in height and design, creating a picture-perfect view of a medieval fantasy city.

"…Seriously. This place is amazing."

Klaus finally arrived.

Twilight Manor, home of the Loki Familia.

Before him stood a grand red spire of a castle, its tallest tower flying a flag with a mischievous jester symbol.

The Loki Familia—one of the top two strongest in all of Orario.

Right now, they weren't open to public recruitment.

The only way to join was through someone on the inside.

Two armored guards stood at the gates—tall, strong, and clearly Level 2 adventurers at minimum.

Klaus scratched his nose, full of confidence, and walked right up.

And just then—

Bete Loga, one of the Loki Familia's executive members, stepped out of the manor, hands in his pockets, face full of annoyance.
