Hi all,
I am going to be completely transparent here. For the past 2 weeks I have not opened a 3D application, main reason was the sales of the set HZR and I did fell flat really poor compared to the past sets I have sold on the 3DX stores. My motivation to do this given the time needed to churn out a set a month with the low sales killed my motivation.
I have been giving a lot of thought to figure out how best to proceed and my plan is this.
1. For the immediate future all my stuff is going to be here on Patreon, I will post some images on blog and tumbler but I am not going to resell for the immediate future at the stores.
2. I am going to revamp the pledge tiers may even just do a flat 1 tier $5 or $10 type thing.
3. I am going to get the 3 Commission sets already paid for done, first on the next sets to do.
The school girl set (bigger images below) I am going finish up this month. I will post an upset here this weekend.
Then I am going to get back into a set a month perhaps smaller 50 ish images Vs the 100+ but get you all 12 sets a year as I was doing in the past.

Very Short: I think it would be worthwhile to discuss check with a couple of other artists if they make the same experience in general ( sales going down for their sets compared to 1-2 years ago). And yes there is more competition which is probably a factor (even if quality wise you are in the absolute top league). One other test could be to make and sell a set with those heroines that is you best sold so far meaning a Faeria, Erin/Vikki, Carina you know whom of your girls sells best. Check and compare to sales with the older releases. Though I assume most true fans are Patreons here anyhow you did not release anything with one of these girls that you have grown with since along time but all last sets (except for the Doll house 2 prequel) had new chars . Although I like also most of you. New chars I really miss the others . Just some first thoughts...

2017-06-17 05:36:50 +0000 UTCAs I myself make my living selling I find it very interesting following buying trends that I am personally involve in. One side to having your work available on sites like Affect 3D is the public exposure that may bring new customers your way. In a sense it becomes an ongoing advertisement. In a recent survey Affect 3D ran they had about 500 customers respond with their personal point of views. They are trying with more writers to build up interest in daily visits to their site just to check out the articles and such. And then of course there are always those new releases. One thing that disappoints me is the lack of reviews from customers for the new sets purchased, good or bad. You may of noticed I wrote a short positive review for your recent set but again I felt there was a lack of interest in other customers expressing their thoughts. A half dozen or so different reviews would be right. It works for Amazon. Hope time changes that.

Why not sell them after 2-3 months after you release them to patreon. Even if you get very low sales it would at least will be some more income as well as some more visibility. Edit: Also just wanted to add that lately 3D market is flooded with funtari pictures. Good pictures get lost in the rubble.
