Hmm... Last time Grom had his mini-series the guard he possessed then had his mind and existence merged into Grom, effectively becoming him fully. And then, at the end of it, the protagonist, son of that guard, was implied to be made into a Gorilla as well. What if back then, at the end of that story Grom, The Gorilla of Darkness, remade his human son into Luz, The Gorilla of the Light, to stand by his Dad so that they would compliment each other’s strengths? Except something could have gotten wrong, Luz had an amnesia after he got changed and his mind stabilized in the new form and he’s now unknowingly possessing people who have family ties to those who his Dad, Grom, possesses? And Grom, not knowing how to get his Rilla Son to remember him, is hurting and causing all the rampages in search of magical artifacts to restore his son’s memories. After Grom and Luz get enough spiritual energy from the hosts they possess they are able to separate from them in the physical mortal plane and act on their own but their hosts would be half-transformed into Gorillas themselves and eventually transforming fully because of the residual Simian Essence that Grom and Luz would leave in them.
