But if one where to push it far enough, they may find themselves changed beyond recognition, potentially even forgetting who they once where.

If you were at juuust the right amount of rewriting, you could find yourself standing there, holding the Tome of Rebirth, and wondering, '...Wait why would I want to change from being an orc to something else? What was I thinking?" Of course, if you went further than that you might be staring at a weird book you're holding and gnawing at it a bit, haha. Also man, I love the asymmetry in your art! One tusk being large, one arm bulging more than the other, it really helps it seem more wild. ^_^
