Small Update - Changes and Considerations
Added 2025-05-04 01:46:25 +0000 UTCThe Discord server has been deleted, as I felt that my mental instability only serves to ward off people, and having a direct IRC chat centered around me doesn't benefit anyone involved. (Besides bad actors, trolls, and spies - which I know I sound schizo for saying, but I've been shown proof recently that multiple "factions" have seeded my server in order to keep tabs on me. For some reason.)
The original purpose of the server was to archive my work, however I don't think scrolling a massive - laggy - channel worked well for that. Currently, my friend Feril is working on re-writing my website to be more archival focused, so that should be a more than suitable replacement once it's prepared. My Discord and Telegram account will no longer be used for socialization outside of business or commissions.
To also fill the (intended) role of the Discord server, I'll be putting more focus on the monthly development logs related to Skantish. In addition to fleshing them out more thoroughly, I'm planning to transform them into full monthly newsletter-esque posts. This basically just means that they'll include more than just development updates, and I'll be dedicating a little more time to structuring and composing them.
