Summer Update, rDPS Meter Release & More!

Hi all!

Happy Summer! Hope you've all had a great time with all the latest game releases. We've been chugging along with a ton of maintenance work on our end, trying to fit in new feature work where we can. The last few months has been packed with game releases, such as Cataclysm Classic, ESO Gold Road, FFXIV Dawntrail, and most recently Phase 4 of Season of Discovery. We're also preparing for a new Retail WoW release in August, with the pre-patch coming next week.

Since our last Patreon update, we've been supporting all these new game updates, worked on adding Blizzard API support to Classic, which now lets you claim characters through the Battle.net connection. There's been a ton of back and forth to iron out all the quirks and we're finally (soon) able to cross this off the list.

rDPS Meter RELEASED!

Work has continued on the in-game rDPS meter for FFXIV. This has been a long anticipated road for us, so we are incredibly excited! This has been available in the Alchemical Society tier for a while, and today it is finally released for EVERYONE! Happy parsing!

Archon Addon

Another cool feature we've been working more on is our Archon Addon! This was early released for SoD back in May, and we've been working out the quirks and adding Cataclysm support. This has finally reached a closed beta stage, and you can opt in to the waiting list in the Warcraft Logs client, under 'Addon'. We'll gradually be accepting more testers and this is free.

Cataclysm

We've done a ton of iteration on Cataclysm so far, and we're planning another partition with the upcoming Rise of the Zandalari patch to change the parsing rules. This will include removal of Sinestra whelps, Maloriak aberration adds, and a few more things. We appreciate all the constructive feedback and discussions we've engaged in so far.

Season of Discovery

Molten Core and Onyxia is coming for SoD next week, and we're working on supporting them and their new quirks. We are not planning on ranking world bosses. The different heat levels for Molten Core will likely be treated as different difficulties on WCL, like normal/heroic/mythic.
