Thoughts and opinions on a potential character

Hi,

So I have the game planned out pretty far ahead, and there will be a character introduced that is slightly different from anything I've ever done before and I would like some feedback on it.

The idea is that a character in their late 20s would be transgender. They were born a male, however when they were very young and pre-puberty, decided they wanted to live as a female. They then started taking hormone replacements to swap the testosterone for estrogen, and because of this they've developed as a female. Feminine voice, facial features, no facial hair or muscle building that usually happens during puberty, they look and sound exactly like a girl. However they are terrified of surgery, so every time they were going to have the operation to complete their transition, they couldn't go through with it, pushing it back and back and eventually in their late teens cancelling it. So for the last 20 years they've been taking hormone replacements constantly, and living as a female, they're technically female in every way except their genitalia. 

The character in question will be a side-character who you can choose to do three things with, and two of them have two different paths:

1) Ignore Completely, you can just not have anything to do with this character romantically or sexually and only see them for story purposes

2) Have an active romance with them, with two ways to end their particular difference, one being to help them to go through with the surgery, or the second to accept them as they are.

3) Encourage them to have their own relationship with a female character, and then have the option of a threesome (in which you could solely interact with the girl, or interact with both)

I know this type of character can be very decisive, so I wanted to just get some feedback whilst they're pencilled in, this won't be happening for several updates, and it isn't a character you've met yet. I'll stress they could be entirely avoidable.

Thanks in advance for any feedback, this is an idea I have, however I'm not set on it if people are against it as it isn't an important plot character.
