2023-11-24 21:50:45 +0000 UTCTurkey Leg MVP is indeed for the best player of the Thanksgiving games - we used to have yearly Thanksgiving games between all the ex-football players (and I'm sure the youngsters still do) on our old field called the Turkey Bowl. No limit on amount of players, so sometimes it would be like 25 on 25 😂 anything football related on Thanksgiving is liable to be called Turkey something. Also, Reggie died shortly after retirement. It was pretty devastating for any fan of the game.

2023-08-11 18:40:47 +0000 UTCYup, I remember at my Church's Christmas Program Rehearsal when the older guys at my church (8+ years older than me) were telling us High School kids stories about Reggie White and his actions on and off the field and my brother and I fell in love with #92 because of it that we would take notice of anyone who wore #92 as a defensive lineman...Literally 2 weeks later, he passed away and my brother and I were completely devastated

Unfortunately, we lost him way too soon as Reggie died at the age of 43.
