2024-01-07 05:19:09 +0000 UTCMy favorite John Madden memory is when Pat Summerall made a joke or reference to some kind of big political event that was going on at the time that was huge news (I don't remember exactly what, but something everyone was talking about), and Madden just kind of paused and was "well I don't know about that" and continued. Like it seemed like he didn't know anything about anything else besides football. I'm not sure there is anyone else ever that just totally lived for Football his whole life.
