Changes to Tiers

Hello!

Just to let everybody know I've made some changes to the Tiers.

Firstly, to everybody that is already subscribed, nothing has changed for you (although you might have got some new benefits)!

Absolutely nothing has been removed or taken away from those already pledged!!

So Patreon recommends not having a $1 tier, and I've now had a look, seen the reason why and decided it would be a good idea to make some changes. The $1 Pledge takes about as much in Payment Processing and Site Fees as actually reaches me, and it is my most populous tier. At the moment I've been releasing content to the $1 Tier, despite it only supposed to be being a tip jar kind of tier, and I think that might be the reason so many people pledge to it despite it having no benefits listed. However, 50-55% of these donations are just disappearing into processing and site fees.

Patreon recommends the minimum Tier be $3 and that's where the payment processing rate scales down significantly from the ludicrous 50 odd percent it currently is for the $1 Tier. So basically for every 2 people subscribed to the $1 Tier, 1 of their pledges reaches me, the other goes entirely into payment processing.

So from now on the game is only being released to the $3+ Tier, and the new $1 Tier will not be receiving releases and will be just a preview/tip jar as originally intended.

However the old $1 Tier has not been deleted, it has just been unpublished meaning nobody new can join it. If you are currently already a $1 Patron you will still receive the releases the same as usual, and nothing will change for you! It will be around for as long as you pledge, I'm not going to force anybody to change or lose benefits when they've already committed a pledge, and I'll keep releasing the game there.

There are also two new tiers:

Supporter Plus is listed at $7.50, it receives early access like the Supporter Tier, and will receive access to 4k Wallpapers of the game. 

These will be created and released after each update, and Super and Alpha Tiers will also receive access to these. Unlike the renders for Super and above, there is no voting for these, I'll be making some good looking wallpapers in theme with the update and the primary characters of the update and release them.

Sponsor is a Tier I got asked about so I've added it, it's a lot of work really so it is priced at $100. 

This is a "Character in the Game" Tier. It will be a background character and I'll work with you to create and name them. They will be the equivalent of a movie set extra though, not a love interest. There are some upcoming roles that will have spoken characters I haven't yet created models for, so you can design and name one of these. Please just DM me if you're seriously interested in this tier. 

Once I've made the characters I currently have vacancies for, this tier will be deleted, so please do not pledge annually to it!

tl:dr absolutely nothing has changed if you're already pledged!
