Update
Added 2022-05-31 19:36:22 +0000 UTCYes! The splint is off!
Now I can move my finger a little bit, enough so I can resume working. Still hurts a bit when I grab the pen but it's manageable.
Everything should be back to normal in about 10 days :]
I want to finish the dragon piece today and upload the rewards for it as soon as it's done.
Here's a pic of the stiches for anyone interested in that. I wouldn't call it graphic but still, be warned.
