New commission info??

I was going to post this, but I feel it would help to ask you guys first especially since I've gotten commissions from some of you before. Is this still a fair price in comparison to my skill level? I feel like commission requests have been coming in a lot and I'm trying to keep my pricing balanced with the demand and the quality of my art. So even if this would go out of your price range is this fair to ask or should i keep my prices the same for now? (Let's try to keep this objective as possible since it's not normal to want something to cost more if you are a consumer XD)

New commission info?? New commission info??

Tbh I think it kinda going a little out of range but on the other half I think it right. Your art has improved a lot & with a lot of people commission you I think it a good idea to increase but same time could be trouble for some other can't do of other stuff they need to pay off/buy irl things, like myself got things to help out & pay(more responsibility as been put on me) but also watching myself cuz of my crazy lust thing going all in wasting away like a drunk man, some artist with high price of great art isn't worth it but sometimes it is worth it To me I'm 50/50 or 52/48 but as long you think it a good idea to help you out with any money problem, i will try to commission you again while I support you on patreon

I understand man! As long as you continue to support my art one way or another (financially or not) I'm grateful. I'm sorry to hear this goes out of your range, but i completely understand ^^

Thanks for your imput! I'm glad to hear you think my art is worth that much though I think until I'm known enough i want to keep myself at the lower end. I do think popularity has a factor to deal with pricing, people are more willing to pay a very high price if it's someone well known and i'm not there yet. I usually wait to notice a trend of me getting a lot of comms that take up a lot of my time before i consider raising prices. But yeah i appreciate your input on the matter!

I agree with the above comment wholeheartedly. However, I should note that that would go above my preferred price range. I really love your work, don't get me wrong, but due to currency conversion being bad I can't really justify it. I am glad to see you considering it as I know you're always swamped with commissions.

Note: I never have requested a commission. Also, I'm well aware the pricing will change by complexity. Therefore, bear with me when I mention/suggest prices at their base, without complexities. Personally, I think your commission pricing even now is pretty generous all things considered. This might be why you are getting a lot of commission requests. Usually, commissions by other artists I've seen can go up to 70 on average to high as 300 dollars. You may feel the need to raise the price again. You should do this if the art production is larger than before or if your customers find the quality to be higher than you measured it before (personally I find your art really good and I'd be willing to pay even $70 if I asked) $40 is perfectly fine at the moment, albeit very generous. So if you do find yourself being overwhelmed by commission requests, there's nothing wrong closing further commissions if you already have enough on your plate.
