Our pleasure! It is definitely tough to both process the episode and then talk about it in some kind of constructive way afterwards when there is so much emotion. We almost should record our thoughts about it immediately after as well as the next day haha.

I love/hate how hard that flung word "jinx" is. There's venom there, and it had to go all the way down into little Powder's heart and burn, poor thing.

2022-02-10 16:24:52 +0000 UTCThe show was actually released that way. 3 Acts, 3 different weeks. It truly was an experience to watch it like that. The sadness euphoria at the end of Act 1, Act 2 made you hate that they were split in acts, and then by Act 3s end, you kinda got over it. XD

Tho she didn'tknow how big that explosion is going to be and where Vander and others are, but all that sees. They were out and home free to go before that explosion. Felt sorry for every one.

2022-01-11 03:28:33 +0000 UTCJust to clarify the lasts few scenes of the monkey banging the gemstone is just different perspectives depending on where each one was, it wasn't multiple bangs. A lot of people who saw that got that confused.

2022-01-11 00:55:48 +0000 UTCWhich is kind of why Vi should've taken Powder with her. Leaving her on her own like that with absolutely no one to watch her was not the right call. Her intentions were good in that she wanted to protect Powder. But we can see how good intentions can go wrong with what Powder ended up doing in trying to "save" them. Also, I think what made this scene great is that they had only given us the illusion that they would've gotten out alive so that we could see things from Vi's perspective. They were far from home free as they had only begun their escape plan by getting the wall broken down. What was next? They were high up as we saw how far Shimmer Vander fell when he jumped out the window. Could they all have gotten out alive, absolutely. But it wasn't a guarantee at that point.

2022-01-10 15:55:38 +0000 UTCIt was starting to look good for them in that Vander was about to be free and they had a way out. But they didn't have an escape route planned per say. Vi had just asked Claggor to break through the wall which he finally did. But how were they getting down from that height? The shimmer beast was about to break down that door. So they were by no means home free. Don't think it was set in stone that they were going to live or die, they still had a chance, and then, yeah, Powder's "help" ended that chance they had. So they may have all gotten away. They also all could've died.

They had an escape route, they were cut off from the enemy, and Vander just about to be free. They could have survived if the bomb didn't go off, there was a chance they could save everyone, and Powder took that away from them without knowing, but Vi is old enough to understand, thus her conflicted expressions when trying to figure out what to say or how to act with Powder.

Normally I binge watch reactions for my most favorite show (probably already in the two digits lol) but I just couldnt wait for your reaction of act 1 :D Really loved this. I was kinda worried about the audio at the beginning but once I have synced it up well with my audio it really wasnt that big of a deal for me. And considering this is your first full show reaction it went pretty good over all I would say, and believe me I have seen far worse audio even when they listened through headphones. Maybe try to move the microphone a bit closer to you and more away from the TV? I dunno, dont know anything about your tech setup anyway :D Anyways, I really really loved this, kinda sad that I have to wait 2 weeks now to see the act 2 reaction but Im sure it'll be worth the wait. You two seem really invested and I cant wait to see more!

It seemed like everything was progressing towards the classic kids show happy ending... and then they flip the script on us.... This finale is so hard to get over.
