I feel like Pong Krell was inspired by WWII Russian generals where they would just through hundreds of men to try and break the german empire. Also for your comment on the years theyve been fighting keep in mind that clones have advanced aging(I cant remember how Advanced it is but the war is probably like 4 or 5 years for them.
