You can correct me if I'm wrong, but they're already aware of how that goes. They've seen numerous clips from Dragon Ball Fighterz that show their relationship. That said, to Ken and Bethany, my apologies if that did end up being spoilers. I also miscounted when I initially made the comment, thinking it was episode 50, not 51.

What a great episode! This is one of my favorites and I agree with recruiting you guys said in the discussion at the end. This is definitely Tien’s shinning moment and abridged did it so wonderfully!

Finally in a place to do so, and happy to have become a Patron at last! Now to get caught up on these! This and the next episodes are great examples of TFS's writing skills. In the original, the relationship between Krillin and 18 just kind of...happens. Toriyama admits that he's not good at writing romance. So, little scenes like Krillin finding the remote "heavy" and some lines in 51 really do a great job of building their relation in ways the original never did. Side note: Bethany, love the hair in this one.

When Tien was first introduced, he was the strongest character. He was even stronger than Goku (he beat Goku the first time they fought). He remained the strongest purely human character by a significant margin for the entirety of Dragonball. But Piccolo took his place as Goku's main rival (later supplanted by Vegeta), and Krillin was always Goku's best friend, so there wasn't much room for two strong bald humans in the show. He's still really strong; he's probably stronger than Krillin (Although there's a lot of debate on the subject); he's DEFINITELY stronger than Yamcha. But Akira Toriyama kind of just forgets about him most of the time.
