They've done dark humor before (a lot), so I couldn't imagine it would be trouble. Also, it could for sure be abridged (just time consuming and draining). I wholeheartedly disagree with that.

2023-02-14 20:45:17 +0000 UTCCell was never my favorite villain. I still thought he was great, but I preferred Frieza, and the next villain more, but the Abridge Cell is just the best. I think I would've loved Cell more if his imperfect form had been his final form. Imperfect Cell is the most terrifying in my opinion. I'm also starting to understand why they didn't do the next arc. I think it would've been difficult for Abridge to make the next villain arc sillier than it already was. Although it doesn't start silly. In fact it has one of the if not the most brutal scene in all of Dragon Ball Z, and it would've been difficult to make it funny. It's also not skippable without losing some context.

2023-02-12 17:59:42 +0000 UTCIdk if anyone else mentioned it but we’re far enough into it where I can say this piece of info Android 17 and 18 in this timeline are stronger BUT they’re actually nicer than the 17/18 in the Future timeline. Idk if you can tell by the abridged series but in the show they actually didn’t kill anyone, as opposed to the future Where they’re killing machines
