Takuma/Mr. Karate is actually Ryo's (as Ken mentioned us close to Ryu because he's an homage to Ryu, he has his uppercut and basically Hadoken instead called Kyoken or something along those lines) and Yuri's father, and mentor to Robert. Saike is an ancestor to Ash. About Athena, she actually has a wardrobe change almost every game, since she's an idol.
