Yeah, Golden Kamuy is just one of those shows that's impossible to hype up but it's just so good the longer you watch. People say that the weird CG bear at the very first episode turned people off, but it's more than that. There is very little moe factor that draws people in. Worse is how it's tough to describe. It's got historical references, cultural food, a rogues gallery treasure hunt. I keep telling friends to watch it, but after 4 seasons, its always been a hard sell.
