For me I'd probably go with Nier being my top new pick and Vinland Saga S2 as the best return. Going to check out Tomo-chan is a girl starting tomorrow so expect reactions for that for the next few days as I try to add it to my review schedule

Hard to choose but I really like Revenger and Buddy Daddys. Also, the first episode of The Fire Hunter really blew me away, looking forward to checking that one out some more.

Nier, Tomo chan is a girl and maybe Magical Revolution are my favourite new shows although Malevolent Spirits: Monogatori might be surprisingly good. There’s some great chill shows though and great comedies. Also notice how every day including normally slow days like Tuesdays are full of anime this season. 2023-01-16 01:58:24 +0000 UTCIt's a bit too early, but Tensei Oujo, Kubo-san, Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten and Buddy Daddies. Trigun's episode 2 has sold me the show a bit more, but I actually look forward to the ones I said so far than any other. Tensei Oujo probably above all else.
