Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up! We are glad we got to see Chuck Greene though in this even though we do love Frank West. Some nods to Frank in the game were cool. Still love that line where he asks the reporter if she has covered wars before 😆

2023-04-18 15:38:27 +0000 UTCTo clear things up/add a bit of context. Dead rising 1 and 2 have different endings depending on how many main quests you complete and if you do certain optional ones. If you get the best ending, S, you get some credits and a final game report before getting to do the overtime post game. That's why the credits suddenly popped up before Chuck talked to TK. I don't think it was mentioned, but if it seemed a bit sudden cutting from Chuck walking with his family in the stadium to him being attacked in the DLC that's because the canon ending is actually ending A which wasn't shown. In ending A you don't get TK the zombrex so Katie and Stacy are at the chopper when it arrives, but chuck runs back to grab the backpack and gets pulled into the elevator by zombie TK. That's why Katie never appears in the DLC, she escaped with Stacy. I'd also like to say that, while I'm presuming there won't be a reaction for it, dead rising 2 did get a side game called off the record where Chuck is replaced with Frank as the main character. It was really cool because, beyond just adding a TON of new content, they actually changed a fair bit of the story around including adding twists that would surprise people who had already played Dead rising 2. Most people think it's the better of the two versions for both gameplay and story and I personally agree, but normal 2 is the canon version so it's good that y'all did this one!
