"I never realized he did that in the actual show!" - Referring to Goku teleporting the exploding Cell to King Kai's planet. It was never actually explained in DBZA, but Goku can't Instant Transmission just anywhere, he has to lock on to the energy signature of another lifeform. So he can't just teleport Cell into the middle of nowhere, space. ANY option he had for teleporting would have resulted in someone or something's death; he went with King Kai because that would result in the least deaths overall. They just played it out in DBZA like they did because 1) they never actually got around to explaining Instant Transmission, and 2) it was funnier.

I kno that vollmer did it too. I meant like the ones who Didnt have multiples were like Vegeta Piccolo and Goku of course. And with piccolo and vegeta sabats voice sounds so worn out in kai and super which is my point.

Well coincidentally, DBZ first aired in 1989. So you'll definitely get that 80s vibe. Still the show was definitely ahead of its time.

OH man im hoping kai does the voice acting justice. It was a worry of mine when yall decided kai. Cause the original is so funny and the dubbing is great imo. All of them have the same VA'S but they are all so much older now. Like Monica Rial For Bulma just doesnt sound quite the same but thats age i guess .Nonetheless im excited for Buu, i know a bit has been spoiled on him cause yall watched the death battle before this but man... strap yourself in for the absolute most terrifying and powerful villain.

Not often I get to do this in reverse, but... Voice Actor Fun Fact! The voice of Gohan for the rest of this series is Kyle Hebert. You've heard him as Santa in Christmas Tree of Might. Also, in keeping with the Satan theme, Videl's name is an anagram of Devil. Edit: also, the video scene in Abridged you're referring to was abridged exclusive. New animation they made specifically for that, and we never got to see young videl in the original show.
