The female Jedi with Kenobi is Adi Gallia you've seen her throughout the series and she assisted in helping them rescue Eeth Koth from Grievous. Also at this point of the series Darth Maul is a follower of Sith teachings of the Rule of 2. Always a master and apprentice for a unified vision to stand against the Jedi. Differing goals and ambitions would deter them.
