2023-05-11 02:08:33 +0000 UTCDragon Ball fillers have always been great. Harkens back to a time where storytelling, character building, and worldbuilding were as important as moving the plot along. Goten SSJ reveal could've easily happen during the tournament at the same time as Trunks with Vegeta, and Chi-Chi being the only two not surprised by the transformation.

2023-05-09 20:09:22 +0000 UTCkai is supposed to be no filler i think this was in the manga plus this is kinda hard to skip. gotten reveal is pretty important and the next is lore based and integral too i think this arc was supposed to be more like dragon ball with the tournament and things after. dragon ball was really heavy on comedy but z was more battle focused with silly stuff like the genyus sprinkled in
