2023-05-15 20:42:31 +0000 UTCIf you guys are still wondering why Savage's master-apprentice relationship ultimately worked out with Maul in the end (since you made a comment about it a couple of eps ago) when his prev 2 failed; it's because Maul didn't belittle him or abuse him and showed a semblance of brotherly love with him. Unlike Ventress and Dooku who used him as a pawn. Unfortunately Sidious's "plans" for Maul is never animated and the arc is never really covered in this series but instead novelized it's basically time skipped. You'll see more of Maul in the future though! :)
