Yeah they were really perfect together from a Master and Apprentice pairing. Yoda did well on that one. 🙂

2023-05-21 20:28:13 +0000 UTCClone wars managed to turn what was ultimately a very two-dimensional story between good and evil and the good knight falling to the dark into something way more nuanced. It foreshadows anakins weakness, yes. But it also shows the fault in the jedi order. And why it was his compassion and attachments that made anakin fall his story didnt end there. And it was those same faults that ultimately allowed him to rise again in the last moments of his life. And for better or worse with all his strengths and weaknesses he managed to raise one of - if not the - most remarkable padawans the modern jedi order ever had. Ahsoka and Anakin are so much alike. But where the spirituality of the jedi and the compassion and heroic spirit of that little slave boy from tatooine are forever in conflict in anakin, in ahsoka they are in harmony. Seeing her grow as a person is one of the great pleasures of watching this series. And i dont think any other master could have given her the freedom to explore both sides of herself on her own terms.
