2023-05-28 01:33:52 +0000 UTCExplaining Star Rail is a bit difficult to put into a few words, but technically it is its own game with its own story that's not linked to Genshin but is linked to Honkai 3rd. The world is within the Honkai Impact multiverse, so you will see some characters with the same names like Seele, Bronya, and Himeko. It's advertised as an open-world space fantasy RPG, but it's not as open as say Genshin is.
