Response on Last Video
Added 2017-10-15 22:17:31 +0000 UTCLast Thursday I released my video 'Forced Opinions in the Anime Community' which was extremely well received. Which I honestly found shocking. The entire point of the video was to say what many shy away from which is most content creators force opinions for the viewers. And many can't say what they truly feel without the fear of backlash. And when I was writing the script for it I was questioning if I should just scrap it since there is no way it will be interesting let alone will more people like than hate it. Then when I had it edited and uploaded I questioned again if I should scrap it because I just expected a ton of drama from it from either content creators calling me out for exposing their practices or just the general fuck you mentality. So seeing the overwhelming response that was positive and supportive truly was a pleasant surprise. I generally set each video with low expectations because even though I think most of my projects deserve as much traffic as the next big guy, it's better to set them low to avoid disappointment. But this video I had no expectations for and expected nothing but hate and to see the numbers it pulled brought a smile to my face. So in the future if something like this topic comes to mind I might be a bit less sceptical with it.
