[Update] Elden Ring: Nightreign Seamless Co-op (4+ players)

Hi everyone,

I've been taking a short break to work on a side-project -- Elden Ring Nightreign Seamless Co-op.

As I'm aware that FromSoftware will implement official 2-player game session support, I've shifted the mod more toward being a purely multiphantom (4+ player) mod. Likely stopping at 12 players, and then allowing other modders to create their own game-modes which could make use of the player cap increase.

I have uploaded a short video showing a 4-player session I played and discussing some of the issues pre-release.

Dark Souls II seamless co-op is still being worked on. It uses an entirely different engine to Dark Souls Dark Souls III, Sekiro, and Elden Ring - therefore it takes a lot longer to develop. Thank you for your patience.

Take care,

Yui

Working through Dark Souls Remaster with a friend and we're having a blast. Phenomenal work!

Im hoping that you could still support 2 player co op with optional scaling, because nightreign is just too much for us and we're really not having much fun with it.

Not a stupid question. Basically, every souls and souls-adjacent title use the same engine, though with massive upgrades with each title. This includes, Sekiro, Bloodborne, etc. Dark Souls 2 is the only one that used a completely different engine altogether.

Great work Yui! Looking forward to trying this out - just out of curiosity, I noticed unlike ERSC there's no Seamless Coop password for Nightreign - is it possible to use the game's inbuilt password/invite system to limit who can join your session?

you mention different engines for ds2. does that also include games like bloodborne or demons souls? sorry if its a really stupid question lol
