Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms

Next video will be on Maquia, the movie from Mari Okada which was her directorial debut thanks to PA Works allowing her to jump from writer to director(she did both for the film). This is a 100% Okada anime and for those who have seen her prior works, which there are many, a lot tend to make you cry most notably for me, Anohana. This film is fantastic but I'd be lying if I said it was an easy video to make. In fact this was the most challenging video I've had to create; scripting was next to impossible and I had to revise it many times and over the course of the 16 hours it took to craft this video, from scripting, to recording, to editing, hell even making the thumbnail I nearly scrapped it 5 times. But the final 19 minute product, including this bitching thumbnail, is alongside Banana Fish, my favourite video I have made next to those Death Note videos last year. Even if you haven't seen the film you can watch this video, I do give a spoiler warning for minor details just because some people think basic info is spoilers as they are too soft to be on the internet. But I just talk about the broad progression while glossing over specifics that I feel are truly spoilers. Truthfully I don't think I spoil anything more than the description does. And anyone who reads a synopsis can guess where the basic plot of the movie will go. Really hope everyone likes it as much as me, I don't think it'll be a highly viewed video but you never know.
