One Punch Man Season 1 Review

Back when the show first aired I liked it but didn't think too highly of it but with less hype around that first season I re-watched it and came out to appreciate it a whole lot more. Sure a large majority of fans watch it for just the animation and jokes but Saitama's character is actually incredibly well written and how the show deconstructs the shonen battle genre while creating a new and fresh look on a hero story is quite amazing. I think the review does a great job not being the same bullshit you always hear but rather being a critical breakdown on why it's actually good past "OMG LOOK AT THE ANIMATION" like 99% of anime channels and fans out there.
