I just started playing this game recently. It's honestly better than a FTP game has any right being. The music, voice acting and character designs are all really cool. But it absolutely DOES try and tempt you into spending money. Black Swan is a schemer who always thinks she's in control. And she thought that Acheron was just this naive girl who wandered into this great chessboard being played by these galactic powers. Then she made the mistake of looking inside Acheron's head and realized: "Oh shit. I'm trying to rizz the most dangerous killer in the galaxy." I like the first one the most because Jingliu is my favorite character (she's a complete monster in combat. Her vs Archeron would be a hell of a fight. But I think Acheron would win). But the animation in the last one is incredible.
