The disdain Eris has for Drifter is more a general view of drifter due to who he his. The vanguard (Zavala, Ikora, and formerly Cayde) merely tolerate his presence, they don't condone his viewpoints or practices as he views the traveler and the gift of the light negatively. So most people do not like him, including Eris.

Because usually if I’m not having fun in the game i just start playing something else and up until season of arrivals that’s basically what I’ve been doing. But over Shadowkeep wasn’t the worst.
