Can't wait for this wild ride. So, you can rewind time and then pause to catch the cats. You can also pause while in combat instead of rewinding to get at least 3 hits on any opponent, and yes it does also skip their turns. The counseling will come in later, and I believe you can talk to Eric's mom for a side mission. Remember, green circles are side missions, gold circles are main missions. You can also press L1 for a list of missions. There's also a room you never entered in the policd station where you'll find Adam and complete or at least start his side mission. Hope this helps.
